Lhotse is most recognized for its closeness to Mount Everest, and at 8,516 meters, it is the world’s fourth-highest peak. The Lhotse Expedition climb follows the same path as the Everest climb, including the appropriately called Lhotse face almost all the way to Everest’s Geneva Spur, where it follows a hard ascent via a lengthy couloir to the summit.
