Pumori Expedition

This magnificent peak is located in Nepal’s upper Khumbu area. The mountain is located on the boundary between Nepal and Tibet. Mount Pumori is one of the most prominent 7,000-meter summits in Nepal’s Everest area. For the remainder of the ascent, the route follows the Southeast buttress before traversing to the East Ridge. Mount Pumori, which requires great physical endurance, offers portions of wild exposure, vistas of Lhotse and Everest, and technical difficulties worthy of any Himalayan alpinist. Mount Pumori is a difficult expedition peak that should only be attempted by experienced climbers.
